Anna Campbell is an award-winning writer, director and producer. She grew up in Mexico and Herefordshire.

Anna is interested in telling stories about journeys of transformation in the fantasy and adventure space. Her credits, below, include working with classic novels, for BBC 4’s The Read, and contemporary new writing, for The Whale Tattoo.

Her original short animation Flesh won the RTS Midlands Best Animation Award in 2020.

Anna is developing a feature film called Flytrap, and is working on the fourth series of The Read for BBC 4.

Anna co-runs Girls In Film’s Screenwriting Group, a space for women, non-binary people and trans women to share their work.
